Medieval Figural Brooch. Circa 12th-13th Century AD. Copper-alloy, 11.66g. 43.34 mm. An open-work brooch depicting two male figures, each with one arm over the shoulder of the other, standing on a lion or hound that lays beneath them. A larger size than is normally seen for this type of brooch.
